Recently, Backblaze announced that they released Backblaze Mobile for iPhone. If you already have an account with Backblaze then you’re in luck – it’s available in the App Store and free for anyone who has an active account. An impending release for android is coming up soon..
Let’s take a look at what you can do with the Backblaze iPhone App:
- Download any of the files you’ve backed up to your iPhone. All you need to do is login to your Backblaze account using the app and you’ll be able to download the file you need.
- If you want to share your files, you’re in luck! If you backup lots of images you can share those on Facebook, or if you need to preview Word docs you can do that as well. The app pretty much works natively with the iPhone, so you can expect it to have a lot of options with the files you can access.
- If you’ve got videos, audio files, and even presentations, you can watch those as well, and share them with others.
So not only will your data be backed up, you can now access it virtually anywhere with the Backblaze iPhone app.
